Okay, so this summer I'm staying in America, but with all the Chinese people here speak, it doesn't really feel like it.
So for those who don't know, catch up: I am currently at Indiana University - Bloomington attending a 3-week Mandarin intensive. Why? Because I'm crazy? Yeah... probably, but hey! I'm one step closer to my major I guess!
So after Indiana I fly from Indy to DC for the National Student Leadership Conference in DC and NY. . . . Yeah, crazy.
Today was interesting. I managed to find my way around the airport here and to my shuttle. The place I ate at the airport had both Korean and Japanese sodas (but it was Chinese food. . .). I was insanely proud that I could read the Hangul and some of the Japanese.
the shuttle was fine, until i started to get insanely tired... so I kind of let myself drift of for oh... about ten minutes, and then I just suddenly woke up and was right as rain... train naps have prepared me!
The shuttle dropped me off and then I had to find my dorm... I got lost... Very lost..... >< So lost that my arms had swollen by the time I could set my bags down.
And yeah.... I have sorta made some friends... classes are going to be intense. . . in fact, I think this will be it for the day so I can go study before lights out.
Much love~!
